Eureka! When will us be obsolete?

Eureka! When will us be obsolete?

Came across this video today at work, and I'm experiencing a whirlwind of emotions as I write this. I'm not sure if enough people truly grasp the challenges we face, whether as a developer, an aspiring software engineer, or simply as a human being.

I began this blog with a rhetorical question, one that I didn't intend to answer nor possessed the answer to. As an aspiring software developer, my focus has always been learning the skills on creating leverage through automation, computational power, and scalable system design.

However, with the recent surge in AI-powered tools, I've noticed not only a distinct love-it or hate-it divide among both developers and everyday individuals. But also, a struggle to respond. It's genuinely spine-chilling to consider how AI can compute at a speed far surpassing human capabilities. Not only that, the sheer abundance of AI tools leaves people with little time to react to these innovations, let alone comprehend their existing creations.

In this video, they discussed their experiences and how AI-driven tools are dramatically transforming not just the IT sector, but potentially all white-collar jobs. I highly recommend that individuals who have yet explored AI or ML should seriously reconsider, as the potential in this field is genuine and will be the driving force behind numerous leading companies in the upcoming decades.
